THE QUEUE ‘The Queue’ translates an everyday structured social system into a visual identity.
‘더 큐'는 일상 속의 정형화된 사회적 시스템을 시각적 아이덴티티로 표현합니다.









We encounter and participate in ‘Queue’ every day, 
yet we rarely recognise it as an identity of its own.
I designed a visual identity for the ‘Queue’, an overlooked place 
that quietly occupies minutes, or sometimes hours, of our lives.



Each dot in the visual identity represents an individual, 
but through regular alignment, individuality is diminished
and transformed into a continuous flow.




The dots, barely touching yet closely aligned,
communicates people standing in line,
coexisting within the same rule and direction
without forming relationships.






The visual identity was transformed into vertical flags, 
allowing people to perceive and experience the ‘Queue’ as a space.
Through these flags, they could sense both 
the presence of the queue and its length and depth.
